A Meaningful Easter Volunteer Experience in Morocco
The Easter Sociocultural Week (Holy Week / Semana Santa) is a one-week volunteer and cultural program organized by Heart of Atlas Association in the southeast of Morocco.
This program offers participants a meaningful holiday by combining solidarity, cultural exchange, and activities with children during the Easter holidays.
Program Purpose
We believe holidays should be both enriching and impactful.
This Easter program allows volunteers to:
Enjoy new cultural experiences
Support local children through educational and creative activities
Share meaningful moments that create lasting memories
Activities with Children
During Holy Week, volunteers participate in:
Activities and workshops with children
Painting and decoration
Storytelling and mime
Creative arts (painting on leaves, cut-outs, costumes)
Gymkhanas and group games
Educational activities (maps, languages, simple cultural learning)

Dates: 13 April – 20 April 2026
Location: Southeast Morocco – Errachidia / Merzouga / Midelt
Age: 18–40 years old
Airports: Marrakech / Errachidia / Fez / Ouarzazate
